We oppose this practice, and it’s one of the main reasons we started CleanSky: to clear clean energy’s name and provide customers with electricity and natural gas rates comparable to those backed by fossil fuels.

100% of the electricity we offer to our residential customers is renewable, and we buy Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to verify that. And for products like natural gas that power your stove, we make sure it’s carbon neutral by buying carbon offsets.
