  • How do I switch to CleanSky Energy?

    Enrolling is simple: explore our energy plans and agreements, compare rates, and select the plan that aligns with your needs. You can sign up online or give us a call at 1-888-733-5557. You can also reach out via email at CustomerCare@CleanSkyEnergy.com. We’re available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-7:00pm ET,  Saturday: 10:00am-2:00pm ET.

    No need to call your current provider; CleanSky will handle the switch for you after you enroll in a new plan.

  • How does Happy Hour Power work? What are the terms and conditions?

    Backed by solar energy the designated Free Energy: 0¢ per kWh from 9pm – 6am on Monday through Friday from 12am to 11:59pm on Sunday. This does not apply to any other utility fees.

    In the event Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) fails to record complete interval data, your TDSP may estimate usage for missing periods using historical data from your meter, or report interval data for missing intervals as a zero. A multi-day average of recent interval data may be used to estimate usage for missing intervals and used to calculate your monthly bill. When there is a difference between the monthly meter read and monthly total of actual or estimated interval data, the usage will be re-billed upon receipt of the full set of interval data for the billing period where estimation occurred.

    Fees not included in price: Insufficient Funds: $30; Disconnect Notice Fee: $10; Disconnection Fee: $50. Information on other non-recurring fees is available in the Terms of Service of your chosen plan in the section labeled ‘Other Charges and Fees’.

  • Who is eligible for this plan?

    All Texas residential customers

  • Do I need any special equipment for a renewable energy plan?

    No additional equipment is necessary to receive electricity from CleanSky Energy. Your home or business will use the same energy-supply lines as always.

  • What if my free hours are not recorded correctly?

    Please contact our customer care team and provide specific details about the discrepancy.

  • What happens if there's a power outage during my free hours?

    There is no impact on free hours: A power outage during your free hours won’t affect your free hour allocation or usage tracking

  • How accurate is the time tracking?

    Smart meters automatically track and differentiate between daytime and nighttime usage. Time is synchronized with the local utility’s standard time zone.

  • How can I track my energy usage?

    Yes, you may track your usage using your MyAccount.

  • Are there any limitations on how much electricity I can use during free hours? For example, can I use my pool, hot tub, charge by Electric Vehicle, etc.

    There are no restrictions on usage during the free hours.
