Electricity deregulation empowers consumers by allowing them to choose their retail electricity provider, similar to selecting and comparing cell phone providers or internet plans. The Enrollment Period
Commencing from March 4, 2024, Lubbock is set to embrace deregulation, marking a significant shift in the energy landscape. The presale period, kicking off on Friday, January 5, 2024, offers residents the opportunity to proactively choose their preferred electricity provider.
Important Disclaimer
Failure to select a new provider during this period will result in automatic service allocation from one of the default retail electricity providers. We encourage residents to act now and secure a provider that aligns with their preferences before the deregulation transition takes effect.

What will CleanSky Energy be responsible for after deregulation?
Your chosen retail electricity provider (REP) or in our case, CleanSky Energy will handle customer service and monthly billing for your residence or business. Upon enrollment, we will directly send you the bill, and you can contact us for payment processing and answers to your electricity billing and account inquiries. Should you relocate within their service area while enrolled in a plan, be sure to contact CleanSky Energy and we will seamlessly transfer your service to your new address.

Is there any possibility of a power interruption while I await the start of CleanSky Energy service?
Rest assured, your power will not be interrupted during the transition to CleanSky Energy service. The seamless process involves no changes in the delivery of your electricity, and there is no need for any additional equipment installation.
