  • How Do I Switch to CleanSky Energy?

    Enrolling is simple: explore our energy plans and agreements, compare rates, and select the plan that aligns with your needs. You can sign up online or give us a call at 1-888-733-5557. You can also reach out via email at CustomerCare@CleanSkyEnergy.com. We’re available Monday-Friday from 8:00am-7:00pm ET,  Saturday: 10:00am-2:00pm ET.

  • How Does Free Month 12 Work?

    Free Month 12 locks you into a fixed rate for 12 months, which means you’ll avoid price hikes in the summer. Free month is defined as the billing cycle ending with your meter read date in November 2024 and may not be a calendar month.

  • How Will I Be Charged Under This Plan?

    Only the energy charges from CleanSky Energy on your bill are eligible for the free month bill credit.

  • If the Price Can Change, How Will It Change and For How Much?

    Your price may be adjusted to reflect changes in the charges from your utility provider (e.g. CenterPoint Energy, ONCOR, AEP Texas, Texas-New Mexico), changes to the ERCOT, PUCT, or other administrative fees charged to loads or changes resulting from federal, state or local laws or regulatory actions that impose new or modified fees or costs that are beyond CleanSky Energy’s control.

  • What Other Fees May I Be Charged?

    Fees not included in price: Insufficient Funds: $30; Disconnect Notice Fee: $10; Disconnection Fee: $50. Information on other non-recurring fees is available in the Terms of Service of your chosen plan in the section labeled ‘Other Charges and Fees’.

  • Free Month 12 Terms & Conditions

    Only the energy charges from CleanSky Energy on your bill are eligible for the free month bill credit. The free month is defined as the billing cycle ending with your meter read date in April 2025 and may not be a calendar month. TDSP charges and taxes are not included in the free energy month.

  • What If I Have a Power Outage?

    In the event of an emergency power outage in your home, call your local utility company. They are responsible for fixing power outages when they occur. Your utility’s contact information is found on your monthly energy invoice.

  • What Are the Advantages of Renewable Energy?

    CleanSky offers 100% renewable energy plans backed by Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). This ensures that every unit of energy used is tracked and accounted for via sustainable sources such as wind, solar, and hydro.

  • Do I Need Any Special Equipment For a Renewable Energy Plan?

    No additional equipment is necessary to receive electricity from CleanSky Energy. Your home or business will use the same energy-supply lines as always.

  • Is CleanSky Energy Affiliated With Local Utilities?

    No. We are in no way associated with utility companies. CleanSky Energy is licensed by the appropriate Public Utility Commissions to supply electricity in all of the states we service. The utility companies are regulated to transport electricity to the population. CleanSky Energy purchases green energy commodities from the open energy market in order to provide the most affordable energy rates possible to our customers.

  • How Long Will It Take to Transition to CleanSky?

    The exact times for switching is determined by your local utility. It depends on when you enroll but the change will most likely occur on the date of the next scheduled meter-read by the utility. After enrolling with us, you will receive a welcome letter with the details of your energy agreement. It may take one to two billing cycles for CleanSky Energy to appear on your invoice from the utility company.

  • Is it Necessary to Call My Current Supplier?

    No. We’ll handle notifying the right people for you. CleanSky will ensure it’s completely seamless and with no interruption in energy service.

  • How Much Does It Cost to Switch to CleanSky?

    There is no enrollment fee with CleanSky Energy. However, your local utility may charge a nominal, one-time service charge that will appear on the following invoice from the utility.
